This learning journey focuses on many of the core responsibilities defined in Training Industry’s Training Manager Competency Model™ through the lens of how they are applied in the context of developing organizations’ current and future leaders, including identifying leadership development needs, developing and delivering leadership training solutions, optimizing leadership development processes, selecting and managing resources for your leadership development programs, and ensuring those programs are strategically aligned to business needs.

The Leadership Development Journey was created for training professionals seeking guidance in creating effective leadership development programs, utilizing tools such as competency models to assess leadership skills and be able to evaluate those programs to ensure they align with the goals of the organization.

The Certified Professional in Training Management Program

  • The only credential focused specifically on the training manager job role.  
  • When you earn your CPTM, you will gain the skills needed to manage your corporate leadership training processes and ensure they are aligned with your company’s current and future goals. 

Leading Leadership Development Certificate Program 

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of what it takes to manage leadership development programs, including key competencies needed at different levels of leadership, new training strategies for leadership development and how to evaluate your leadership training programs to make sure they are aligned with organizational goals. 

Competency Modeling Certificate Program

  • Learn a step-by-step process for developing custom competency models for your organization, including identifying key competencies, writing competency definitions, and gaining agreement and buy-in among stakeholders. 
  • Gain strategies to accurately and objectively assess employee’s current competency levels and identify the gaps you need to target.
