Mixed Reality

Mixed reality (MR), also referred to as “hybrid reality,” is an immersive technology that combines elements of both virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) technologies. While VR creates a simulated yet highly realistic virtual environment, and AR overlays digital content upon a real, physical environment, MR blends elements of both of these technologies to create an environment in which the physical and virtual worlds interact. In MR, learners can interact with each other and practice high-risk processes or skills safely.
