Neurodiversity

Neurodiversity refers to variation in the human brain regarding learning, sociability, attention, mood, and other mental and behavioral functions. People who are neurodivergent learn and behave differently from people who are considered “typical.” There are many different types of neurodivergence, such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia and more.

The concept of neurodiversity recognizes that individual differences in brain function are natural and, in many cases, can lead to meaningful insights and innovations. It’s important to consider neurodiverse learners when designing and delivering training to ensure it’s effective and inclusive for everyone.
