Learning Business Process Outsourcing, Learning BPO, or LBPO, is also referred to as Training BPO. It is a business model that refers to the contractual engagement between a buyer and supplier of training services. During this type of engagement, a buy side company utilizes an external supplier for the ongoing management of a broad set of training processes and/or activities. Learning BPO includes comprehensive outsourcing and selective outsourcing business models. It is a component of the broader outsourcing industry, such as Information Technology Outsourcing (ITO), Human Resources (HRO), Finance and Accounting (FAO), etc.
