Conceptual knowledge refers to the knowledge of, or understanding of concepts, principles, theories, models, classifications, etc. We learn conceptual knowledge through reading, viewing, listening, experiencing, or thoughtful, reflective mental activity. Also referred to as Declarative Knowledge. See Procedural Knowledge.
