Active learning is an approach that puts people in charge of their learning experience. Unlike traditional learning methods, where instructors and facilitators do most of the teaching, active learning promotes engagement and collaboration by enabling learners to lead discussions, ask questions and clarify learning. Activities include case studies, simulations, discussing real-world scenarios and solving real-world problems, and role-playing.
