Return on Investment (ROI)

Return on investment (ROI) is a measure of the effectiveness of various investments such as training programs, marketing campaigns, equipment, or other business ventures. ROI is calculated by dividing the net profit (or loss) of an investment by its cost and multiplying by 100 to get a percentage. A positive ROI indicates the investment is generating a profitable return, while a negative ROI means the investment is losing money.
