NEW YORK — May 12, 2022  CoachHub, the global leader in digital coaching, today announced a strategic partnership with EMCC Global, a professional membership body that sets ethical and accreditation standards for the coaching industry. Through the five-year agreement, the two parties will collaborate on raising professional standards in the coaching industry. The partnership is the first of its kind between a global professional body and a global coaching company, marking a unique step forward within the coaching industry.

While improving standards for digital coaching, CoachHub and EMCC Global will also collaborate on specific projects such as improving research and development, and diversity and inclusion within the industry. CoachHub will also provide webinars and other digital resources to EMCC Global’s more than 10,000 members, sharing knowledge about delivering convenient and accessible coaching experiences through digital platforms.

“I am delighted to continue democratizing coaching through a partnership with the EMCC Global, an organization that plays a key role in developing standards in our otherwise unregulated industry,” said Professor Jonathan Passmore, SVP of Coaching at CoachHub. “I will lead collaborative research projects between the CoachHub Coaching Lab and EMCC Global research committee that will develop a more inclusive and innovative coaching industry.”

Since its creation in 2003, EMCC Global’s vision has been to develop, promote and set best practices for mentoring, coaching and supervision for the benefit of society.
“Technology and new business models are changing every aspect of our daily and business lives. In this respect, the growing presence of platforms in the coaching market offers various opportunities and challenges,” said Dr. Riza Kadilar, EMCC Global President. “We greatly value our collaboration with CoachHub as it will pave the way for evidence-based research that enhances the value proposition of this new business model to all stakeholders.”

“Partnering with EMCC Global will uncover unmatched insights into the field while improving the industry’s standards, research and inclusivity,” said Yannis Niebelschuetz, CEO of CoachHub. “We’re driven to develop an industry that truly democratizes coaching by providing high-quality, science-based business coaching that is inclusive of all people.”
