Training and development has been identified as a key area for companies to build capability and sustain training ROI, and external training providers have been a strategic asset to many organizations who may not have in-house resources to meet their learning and development needs.
To address these issues, The Training Associates and Training Industry, Inc. surveyed 204 companies in March 2015 to explore how external providers are blended with in-house L&D staff in order to bolster L&D effectiveness and reach. This report summarizes these results and highlights best practices for both buyers and suppliers of training when it comes to how organizations make decisions about leveraging external solutions providers.
