We have learned a lot over the course of the global pandemic, and – for many organizations – it’s become clear that employees can be productive in the virtual environment. However, employee engagement is about more than just getting it done. It is also about personal satisfaction, and many employees are struggling with work-life balance. Since virtual is here to stay, how can leaders lead not only with competence but with an emphasis on the connection that sustains them and their people? Where are they successful, how are they struggling and what kind of support do they need?

During this talk, Leah Clark, senior director of strategy and planning for GP Strategies’ leadership division, will explore what great leaders have done for years – connect with the mind and lead with the heart – and how that should still be applied in a virtual world.

You will learn:

  • What GP Strategies’ latest research reveals about employee engagement in a virtual environment.
  • What virtual skills leaders are confident in and where they need greater support.
  • How to build connection with individuals and teams in a remote world.
