Christine Janssen, PhD, Founder and CEO, Edstutia

Dr. Christine Janssen is founder and CEO of Edstutia, an award-winning immersive learning platform and content creator for virtual reality (VR)-enhanced learning experiences. Prior to Edstutia, Dr. Janssen was a clinical associate professor and the director of entrepreneurship for twelve years in the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University.

Dr. Janssen’s professional background spans several industries, including consumer products, financial services, and technology. She holds a bachelor of science in marketing from the University of South Florida, a global master of business administration in communications and information systems (CIS) and finance with a specialization in e-business from Fordham University, and a Ph.D. from New York University, where her dissertation focused on how entrepreneurs learn. Dr. Janssen is a senior fellow in the L&D Institute at the U.S. Human Capital Center of the Conference Board, a member of the HR.com Learning Engagement, Solutions and Platforms Advisory Board, co-chair of the Enterprise Committee at the VRARA (Virtual Reality Augmented Reality Association), AIXR advisor in enterprise training and development and a mentor at StartEd, guiding up-and-coming edtech entrepreneurs.
