3:30 – 4:15 p.m. ET

A needs analysis requires a collaborative approach that begins with developing strong relationships with your business partners. Join this session to learn the core principles of needs analysis, and how to leverage connection and understanding to gain trust with stakeholders throughout the process. Most importantly we’ll discuss how this approach results in the development of sponsors and champions that will support the success of your project, assist in removing barriers, and advocate for resources.

In this session, Tracy Cunningham, learning and development (L&D) manager, will look beyond the tactical components of a needs analysis and focus on the connection, trust and understanding to embed within the process. Learning leaders should focus on relationships to bridge the gap between diverse perspectives, and ensure alignment of goals and expectations when conducting a needs analysis.

This session will provide training professionals an easy to replicate framework to:

  • Communicate with stakeholders to build a trust-based relationship in the content of training development.
  • Understand the key touchpoints in the needs analysis process that can be amplified by connection.
  • Build a support system of sponsors and champions that will advocate for the project, resources and your success.
