Dr. Amy DuVernet, CPTM, is an accomplished industrial-organizational (I-O) psychologist, recognized for her expertise in talent assessment, development and organizational effectiveness. As Training Industry’s director of training and development, DuVernet oversees all processes related to Training Industry’s courses for training professionals, including program development and evaluation. With a Ph.D. in psychology, DuVernet has dedicated her career to enhancing employee performance and organizational health through evidence-based practices. Her contributions to the field are notable, including publishing research in peer-reviewed journals, regular presentations at national conferences, authoring an L&D career focused column, and leadership roles in professional I-O psychology associations — most recently serving on the executive board for the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
