Training Industry Conference & Expo (TICE) Terms and Conditions:

By registering for and/or attending the Training Industry Conference & Expo, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. It is the participant’s responsibility to read and understand these terms.

Virtual Conference Registration Cancellation Policy:

  • Registrants may substitute someone else to attend TICE in their place up until the start of the event for no charge.
  • Cancellations received 14 days or more prior to the event are eligible for a refund, less a $25 service fee.
  • Participant(s) who cancel less than 14 days prior to the event will be considered “no shows” and will not be eligible for refunds/credits.
  • Participant(s) who do not cancel and do not attend are liable for the full registration fee.

In-Person Conference Registration Cancellation Policy:

  • Registrants may substitute someone else to attend TICE in their place up until the start of the event for no charge.
  • Cancellations received up to one month prior to the event are eligible for a refund, less a $50 service fee.
  • Cancellations received up to 14 days prior to the event are eligible for a 50% refund.
  • Participant(s) who cancel less than 14 days prior to the event will be considered “no shows” and will not be eligible for refunds/credits.
  • Participant(s) who do not cancel and do not attend are liable for the full registration fee.
  • For the pre-conference workshop, a substitution or transfer made fewer than 30 business days prior to the program start date will result in a $75 change fee, and tuition will be valid toward another program for a period of one year.
  • For the pre-conference certificate course, a substitution or transfer made fewer than 30 business days prior to the program start date will result in a $200 change fee, and tuition will be valid toward another program for a period of one year.

Data Protection:
By submitting registration details, you’ll receive news, research and resources for the corporate learning and development leader from Training Industry. Event attendee lists are made available through event sponsorship and shall not under any circumstances be sold, published, disclosed, transferred, distributed, copied, forwarded or duplicated, in whole or in part, in any manner or form, for any reason, to any third party. Training Industry gathers the personal data in the attendee lists in accordance with its stated Privacy Polices and relies upon such lawful rights under applicable Data Protection legislation as are necessary to enable personal data to be shared with Sponsors for marketing and communication purposes.

Photographs and Publicity Material:
Training Industry Inc. reserves the right to use any photographs, recordings, electronic images or publicity material obtained by Training Industry Inc. in the course of the event. Training Industry Inc. has the exclusive right to include photographic, video and other visual portrayals of Attendees, Speakers, and Exhibitors in any pictorial medium of any nature whatsoever for the purpose of trade, advertising, sales, publicity and otherwise.

Force Majeure:
Should the Training Industry Conference & Expo (TICE) be cancelled due to inclement weather or other acts of God (including, but not limited to, flood, fire, natural disaster or public health event), every attempt will be made to reschedule the event and your registration/sponsorship payment will be applied to the rescheduled event date.

By registering you are agreeing to the following terms:
I agree not to copy or permit to be copied, in any form or format, without the express written permission of Training Industry, any of the contents of the event materials or attendee profiles. I also agree not to use the event contents for any commercial, marketing, promotional, or political purposes. No solicitation is permitted by anyone except by exhibitors within the confinement of their booth.

Event Participants are expected to behave responsibly and to treat each other – and treat the community – with respect, kindness, and compassion. Training Industry reserves the right, without refund, to revoke the credentials of participants whose conduct is deemed inappropriate, disorderly, or offensive by Training Industry, affiliated third parties or the local authorities.
